In India, we worship female deities who symbolize strength and endurance. But in real life, women face a lot of discrimination in different realms of their services to society.
India, although independent from foreign rule, is, however, a prisoner of its thoughts and preferences. Men are often chosen over women for most outdoor activities because they are supposedly more intelligent beings owing to their greater physical strength. However, as it’s already the 21st century, leaders of our nation should now realize that women have battled for a long time to earn the respect and opportunities they naturally deserve and hence should channel the mindset of our society to treat men and women as equally important beings of the nation.
Dr. Nowhera Shaik’s opinions regarding women empowerment
Dr. Nowhera Shaik is an excellent entrepreneur born and brought up in India. She is currently the owner of a flourishing business conglomerate, The Heera Group of Companies. In her journey, she faced a lot of obstacles for being a woman hailing from the Muslim community. So she formed The All India Mahila Empowerment Party to support women and pave the paths of deserving people to achieve success.
Recently, AIMEP team members are diligently working to win the impending Andheri elections. In the next Andheri by-election, Mrs. FarhanaSirajSayyed will take part as a representative of AIMEP. The national president of AIMEP, Dr. Nowhera Shaik, has provided a woman with the opportunity to advance and speak on behalf of her political party to spread the message that women even today are underrepresented in politics.
The final decision lies in the hands of the voters
Now it is up to the residents of Andheri to select a candidate who will serve as their fair and impartial leader from among those who represent their political parties. The pillars of the social reform that Mrs. FarhanaSiraj Sayed is vying for power to execute are the safeguarding of women’s rights, superior infrastructure, and better education.
