Nowhera Shaik Big Supreme Court Victory

Over and over again it has been proven from time to time that the good triumphs over evil. The recent judgement passed by the Supreme Court of India on the Heera Group case is another example to it.

On 10^th of November, 2022, the Supreme Court finally puts out its verdict on the long awaited case of the Heera Group. The court said in the proceeding that the case should dealt with soon. The court has passed several other judgements in light of the case.

Here are some of the points from the verdict;

1. The court has directed to detach all the properties of Heera Group and has reinstated the power to sell their properties to the company. The property of Tolichowki which itself is worth 900 crores rupees has been withdrawn from the SFIO and its rights has been given back to the Heera Group.
2. The court has accepted the standing submission by the Heera Group. After their submission is verified, the settlement will be furnished with a sum of 400 crore rupees. Point to be noted is that the Heera Group has already furnished with a security sum of 900 Crore Tolichowki property.
3. The court has asked the SFIO authorities to deal with all the existing and the new warrants related to Dr. Nowhera Shaik’s company by the lower courts.
4. The court has also issued concerns on the fact that the TSFSL has failed to submit the report on Heera Group data even after 4 years of struggle.
5. The settlement verification procedure will totally be guided under the coordination the SFIO authorities and the Heera Group itself.
6. A formation of a committee comprising of retired revenue officials and members of Dr. Nowhera Shaik’s Heera Group has been though of to settle the claims of the genuine investors. The court has also given absolute right to Heera Group to decide upon whom to give money by giving them back their right to sell their property.
