Indian education system is bad. Indian education is segregated into two parts private and Government education and the ratio is 5:7 respectively.
Improper management of Government and private educational institutions
Government education has failed to give a good quality of education and education received from the government schools is insufficient and scanty. This is because of the lack of teachers and no proper check on them, particularly in the rural areas.
The urban areas have a much higher literacy rate than the rural areas. Public schools have a weak infrastructure and poor academic attention, which is terrible for the overall development of an individual. Better facilities have to be given to a student in sports, cultural, technical, media, arts, music, religious and political areas of academics which would aid them to discover their areas of interest and Government schools lack a lot in this kind of aspect. Whereas private schools would give all such facilities but are too expensive for low-class families to afford. Above 37% of the Indian population is living below the poverty line and they cannot even afford an education at a primary level.
Shortfall of money
The absence of insufficient assets is a fundamental issue in the improvement of education because of poor economics and most instructive institutions need the framework, science gear and equipment, laboratories and libraries because of this the desired outcomes can’t be achieved. Every year there is a separate budget for the education sector but it needs to be well directed through the appropriate conduit so that it reaches every sector.
The issue of the great Indian brain drain
Whenever smart, capable and meritorious candidates don’t get reasonable positions in the nation they feel the need to travel to another country to look for employment and better standards of living and for earning their livelihood so our nation is denied good ability and this issue is the reason we have lost so many talents that could have been otherwise utilised in our nation for the betterment of education sector as well as for the overall development of the nation.
