APJ Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary Abdul Kalam; a name that is revered by every Indian. He is called the ‘Missile Man of India’ for his outstanding contributions in developing India’s missile projects. Born on October 15, 1931, at Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu; APJ Abdul Kalam was a man of outstanding wit and intelligence. He died of cardiac arrest on July 27, 2015, while; he was delivering his lecture at the Indian Institute of Management in Shillong. Today it has been 6 years since the death of this stalwart.
On Tuesday 27th July, many Union Ministers and the Vice President of our country Venkaiah Naidu paid tribute to our ex-president of India. APJ Abdul Kalam served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. He was one such person whose presidential candidate. He was a man of action. While remembering him, his contributions towards our nation and his dream of a new India.

He infused fresh courage and dynamism into the minds of individuals.
